The picturesque village of Ehrwald is located at the foot of the Zugspitze at 1,004 meters above sea level and is the largest village in the Tyrolean Zugspitzarena. In winter, you can choose between three ski areas: the EhrwalderAlm, the Wetterstein and the Zugspitze Glacier. The ski areas of Lermoos, Biberwier, Berwang and Garmisch-Partenkirchen are near and easily accessible as well! In summer, Ehrwald is a true paradise for hikers and bikers. Different levels of difficulty make the routes very attractive for all kinds of people. There is a beautiful 18holes golf course with views to the Zugspitze from every hole. The nearby town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen guarantees varied shopping in a historic ambience. Füssen, Mittenwald and Innsbruck can be reached in about 40 – 60 minutes by car.
