Neukirchen is cosy and friendly winter sports village in Salzburgerland,the village is located at 856 metres in Salzburgerland, Austria. The village has about 3,000 inhabitants, but in winter this is supplemented considerably by tourists. The village has everything; supermarkets, good restaurants, a bakery and even an ice cream parlour (always handy on winter sports). Nightlife is also present, but of course a bit more limited than in nearby Gerlos.

EThe ski area near Neukirchen, the Wildkogel Arena, is cosy and pleasant. There are several nice huts around the slopes where you can catch your breath. With the Super Ski Card, you can also access areas around Neukirchen. The Wildkogel is suitable for families with children. The pistes are beautiful and the valley run is great.

At the top of the Wildkogel is a large bowl. This is where by far most of the pistes are located. This is nice because the bowl is oriented to the north so you will find the best snow here.
