Les Hauts du Monal

Sainte Foy, Savoie

show map

Les Hauts du Monal is an exclusive chalet development of 11 private freehold 4 and 5 bedroom chalets nestled on the pistes of Sainte-Foy in a superb ski-in ski-out location just meters from the ski lifts. Each of these properties has been designed to give priority to both space and light and as a result, large interior and exterior areas have been combined to create a collection of perfect alpine homes which exploit their south facing position.  Each chalet has 2-3 levels with living areas between 150 and 250m2.

Blending traditional Sayvoayd architecture with modern functional interiors, the properties use local materials including stone and wood to provide an atmospheric finish both inside and outside. The location of these chalets is impressive, not only are they piste-side affording immediate access to the slopes of Sainte-Foy but they are also just a short distance from nearby chairlifts, popular restaurants, shops, a creche and a children's snow-garden.

Owners have a number of choices for interior finishes such as 3 types of wood for the flooring and a variety of tiles for kitchens and bathrooms. At the owner’s request and by quotation, additional finishes and room designs can be provided such as saunas, jacuzzis and enclosed private garages, dependent on the stage of construction.

These are the last freehold properties permitted in Sainte Foy and offer an excellent investment opportunity.  The management company Premiere Neige is on hand to promote and manage the chalet for holiday lets offering an attractive rental yield.

Sainte Foy is a popular destination in the Tarentaise Valley. In winter it is known as a family friendly resort with 50 kms of ski pistes and a secure and marked off piste ski area for the more adventurous. At 1550m altitude, Sainte Foy is ideally situated near Tignes, Val d’Isère  and Les Arcs (7km). It benefits from a microclimate favourable to great snow conditions thanks to its northwest orientation and frequent easterly winds which come over from the Italian alps and generate snow. The snow cannons extend from the resort level at 1550m up to 2300m between the top of the Arpettaz and the Aiguille lifts and also cover the middle sector of the Marquise area. The off piste opportunities are fantastic.

In the summer, visitors can enjoy golf, fishing, mountain biking, hiking and climbing.

Grenoble airport is 1hr 30 minutes away, Geneva is 2 hrs 15 minutes and Lyon is 2 hrs 20 minutes by car. For those travelling by train, Bourg St Maurice is 30 minutes from the resort.
